Animating and designing layouts

Hey guys, Well I've been busy with school and I mean A LOT. I barely don't have any free time any more. Learning animation is like a big thing for me and its not only that I got Designing layouts, Life drawing (Which am struggling at), character design, and Script writing. All of this take up my time so much. The more am deeper in this program the more I realize all of my mistakes in my drawings. Sure I can color things nice and fancy but its not drawn out smartly. Which is much important. The people in my class that are really good at drawing can do all this very quickly and here I am doing double the work because my skills are not that high. But I just have to work twice as hard just to catch up to them. Its very tough to go through, there times I didn't even sleep just a finish animation (Doing it Traditional) or doing a layout design

So my point is if you want to be in the animation business you better be sure you LEARN to draw. Not meaning just doodle stuff but take a sketch book and draw people. Every day take out that sketch book and draw something. Learn how things line up, learn about construction, proportions, weight and balance, and Appeal. OR else your your going to be like me struggling in class and have to work double than than the person beside you.

Well that's all I want to say about animation. So far am loving it and my drawings are improving. Its the only thing I want to do with my life is draw cartoons for a living.
